Position Summary

The Project Engineer is responsible for actively listening to and clearly communicating with customers and the BPE team in regard to project designs, drawings, tracking and follow up, as well as problem resolution and project completion deadlines.

Essential Functions

• Communicate with customers effectively during design/fabrication to ensure it goes smoothly and that customer deadlines are met.
• Support the Engineering department by creating project designs and drawings to customer specifications.
• Mechanical Design (AutoCAD drawings of assemblies and skid weldments).
• Develop processes (P&ID, Functional Logics, Components selection) as a basis for mechanical and electrical designs.
• Project Management (Project review, Assemblies Release/Procurement).
• Equipment Inspection and review.
• Functional equipment testing.
• Maintain tracking on all projects status/issues/fabrication by staying in constant communication with internal resources to ensure there are no unforeseen delays/issues.
• Resolve project issues that may arise, during or after fabrication as quickly as possible while maintaining a team- oriented outlook.
• Develop system operation manuals for customers as needed.
• Escalate any issues surrounding: completed designs, major design changes, financial decisions, major and/or expensive project additions/changes.
• Achieve project completion deadlines, while communicating effectively with the BPE team and customer.
• Research and resolve any system design flaws that are discovered.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors in engineering is required. (Mechanical or Chemical preferred).
• 5-7 years of experience in a related field.
• Knowledge of general mechanical and chemical engineering principles, specifically including fluid mechanics, structural, heat transfer, chemical compatibility, and piping systems.
• Familiar with computers/software including MS office package, CAD, 3D modeling, etc.

• Must be able to travel approximately 5% of the time

Position Summary

The welder is responsible for attaching pieces of material (steel, stainless steel) together using TIG and occasional MIG welding.

Essential Functions

• TIG welding and finishing to quality standards – Cutting pipe, Beveling, and Grinding.
• Ability to safely and effectively utilize hand welding tools, welding machines, power tools, hand tools, and fork lifts/scissor lifts.
• Aptitude to work at a constant pace to meet strict time constraints due to customer needs and satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma (required)
• 2-5 years of experience in related field
• Able to pass a 6G weld test (preferred)
• Welding certificate for steel (preferred)
• Must be able to thread pipe
• Must be able to weld pipe and/or square frame material
• Knowledge of welding, steel, and custom fabrication
• Must have own basic tools
• Knowledge in mechanical, carpentry, plumbing, mechanical drawings and welding
• General knowledge of equipment safety and operation (preferably Osha 10, LOTO, Confined space, fall protection, CPR, Forklift, etc)

Position Summary

The Applications Engineer is responsible for the preliminary design and cost estimation of ProFlow’s manufactured systems. This includes process design for various systems. This role’s activities provide a direct source for our customer base and outside sales force to refer to for technical expertise and guidance for project & system design recommendations.

Essential Functions

• Generate quotes and cost estimates in a timely manner.
• Maintain email correspondence with internal and external stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with design firms and end users (Engineered Specification & Preliminary Design work).
• Support customer inquiries by fielding calls while being a source of information and problem solving to customers.
• Develop design alternatives when necessary and clearly communicate the reasons for the design alternatives.
• Provide engineered solutions within a variety of constraints (budget/cost, available resources/utilities, space/footprint, time, etc.).
• Prioritize and multitask during high volume periods and maintain customer patience.
• Continuously communicate with the team to resolve customer needs and proactively manage workload.
• Propose final buy and competitive pricing to customers.
• Utilize CRM/ERP software to track all technical work and communications.
• Visit client sites as needed.
• Act as a backup for Inside Customer Service.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution or comparable experience.
• 0-2 years of experience involving sales/design/estimating and customer support.
• Adept in engineering problem solving.
• Additional preferred qualifications include:
• Familiarity with chemistry/kinetics, fluid dynamics, environmental chemistry or filtration.
• Knowledge or experience with pumps, piping systems, and/or fluid handling equipment will be a plus.
• Knowledge of ASME and AWS plastic and metal welding standards, and UL/CE electrical requirements.
