ProFlow builds selective catalytic reduction system to reduce emissions on offshore rig

Offshore oil and natural gas rigs are increasingly focused on reducing emissions like nitrogen oxides (NOx). In offshore oil and natural gas rigs, nitrogen oxides (NOx) typically come from emissions from internal combustion engines in drill rigs, pump jacks, separators, and compressors, as well as direct combustion of natural gas in flares.

Recently, ProFlow was tasked with engineering and fabricating a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) chemical feed system. SCR systems are employed in various industrial processes to reduce NOx. ProFlow’s SCR feed system meters the ammonia-based reagents that are injected into the effluent stacks to reduce noxious chemicals.
